Welcome to the Kalahari Desert
In December 2018, I started working for the Kalahari Meerkat Project as a field assistant to participate in the study of meerkats' social behaviors. A year and a half later, and a scientific manager position under my belt, I left the project with a heavy heart and a few wrinkles to boot.
